St. Michael and All Angels Church with Preston St. Mark is pleased to be hosting a Christmas Tree Festival on Friday 15 th  ,Saturday 16 th  and Sunday 17 th  December 2017 during day light hours. What is  a  Christmas Tree  Festival ? These Festivals are Church and Community events that bring people together by decorating a Christmas Tree which are then displayed collectively to the public. We hope  this special event will bring Community Groups, Organisations, local places of worship and Businesses into our church, making a beautiful festive display for all to enjoy. As well as the display of decorated Trees there will be entertainment and refreshments running through the Festival. Why should we Host a Christmas Tree Festival ? We wish to bring the community into church and show what our church has to offer. We wish to tell the story of the Nativity, highlight the Christian element of Christmas and tell of God’s love for all. We wish to involve and connect with the whole of the congregation and the many Groups that are connected with St. Michael Church by bringing forth the many talents and abilities that our church family has. We wish add to the Blackburn Diocese VISION 2026 Mission. We also wish to raise money to help sustain God’s Work in this building. How  do I get  involved ? If you, either as an individual, group, organisation or  business would like to get involved by entering a tree in the festival , further details will be displayed under this Tag shortly.
